Rabbit Moon is a period-tracking and diary app. We understand how sensitive menstrual health data is. This policy comes down to one sentence: your records stay on your device.
· Nothing. Cycle and body records (period start and end dates, flow, pain, symptoms, notes), diary entries, moods, and keyword tags are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers. There are no accounts, you never sign up, and we have no way of knowing who you are.
· We do not collect: your name, contact details, precise location, device identifiers (such as IDFA), Apple Health (HealthKit) data, or any usage or behavioural analytics. The app ships with no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind.
In exactly one place: fetching the three short health notes shown each day. That request contains only the date and your interface language — no personal information and no health data. Offline, the app works in full; you simply do not get those three notes.
Cycle predictions, the calendar, the lunar calendar and moon phases, and reminder scheduling all run locally on your device and never depend on the server.
A future release will let you send a diary entry to Rabbit Moon. When you deliberately choose to send one, only that single entry is submitted to an AI service to generate a reply. This feature is not enabled in the current release. Once it is, you will be told clearly before each send — if you do not send, nothing leaves your device.
No ads. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We never sell or share your data, and we never profile you. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing.
Releases before August 12, 2026 backed up cycle and diary records to our server alongside a randomly generated anonymous identifier. That feature has been fully retired, and all such historical data has been deleted from our servers.
Everything lives on your device and can be undone, edited, or deleted entry by entry. Settings lets you export all records as Markdown or JSON, and lets you turn on an app lock (Face ID or your device passcode) so no one else can open it. Uninstalling the app deletes all data — export first if you want to keep it.
Rabbit Moon is intended for users aged 12 and over. If you are under 14, please use it with the guidance of a parent or guardian.
